Two days international training «Training of accessors about competencies acquired in work in the manufacturing sector», from 29 till 30 June 2023 was organized in Vilnius, Lithuania with 12 participants from 3 countries – Lithuania, Latvia and Poland.

Within training was presented:

• METHODOLOGY FOR DESCRIBING COMPETENCIES / QUALIFICATIONS ACQUIRED IN WORK
• MANUAL OF PROCEDURES FOR THE ASSESMENT OF COMPETENCIES / QUALIFICATIONS ACQUIRED IN WORK
• Training material for evaluators of competences acquired in work

Particpants valuated established descriptions and pilottests as usefull, improved their content to be sure that sector workers will be able to assess their competences aquired in work according related qualification standards and labour market needs. They appriciated that competences acquired in work descriptions are made in national languages, tests are available in interactive platform which ensures easy usage of project results for sectore employees, providing them feedback even after planned pilottesting and project implementation. Training served as sharing platform of international experience, manufacturing sector needs, strengthening cooperation between neighbor countries. Materials will be used for next project activities – piloting of QAWA assessment tests at national countries in July and August 2023.

In the international training participated representatives from Center for effective management solutions (Lithuania), The Manufacturing Innovation Valley (Lithuania), The Practical Skills Center (Poland), Foundation Smart minds (Latvia).

Training was made within the Erasmus + Project “Development of a Subsystem for the Assessment and Recognition of Qualifications Acquired in the Work of Specialists in the Manufacturing Sector”, No.2022-1-LT01-KA210-VET-000080772.
