Development of a Subsystem for the Assessment and Recognition of Qualifications Acquired in the Work of Specialists in the Transport Sector

From 1st December 2021 till 31 May 2023 Foundation Smart minds is partner in Erasmus+ program KA220-VET - Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training project “Development of a Subsystem for the Assessment and Recognition of Qualifications Acquired in the Work of Specialists in the Transport Sector”( SQinVET), project No. 2021-1-LT01-KA220-VET-000032965.

The main objective of the project is to create opportunities to identify, assess and validate the competencies / qualifications acquired in a person's work.

During the implementation of the project we will achieve the following results:

  1. Development of methodology for assessment and recognition of competencies acquired in work activities.
  2. Providing set of descriptions of competencies / qualifications acquired in work in the transport sector, covering at least the following professions: long-distance driver, freight forwarder, logistics specialist, warehouse worker, and customs broker.
  3. Training material for the assessment and recognition of work related competencies for practitioners.
  4. 12 assessors of work-related competencies will be trained by piloting the training material.
  1. Pilot assessments of 20 people (transport workers) will be carried out during the piloting of the developed system (5 in each country).
