From 1st August 2024 till 31 July 2025 Foundation Smart minds with partners from Estonia and Lithuania implements Nordplus project "Support for adult education staff in motivating, guiding and advising adults in challenging learning situations (Motivate Adults)", project No. NPAD-2024/10197.
Designing tailored learning offers, developing effective outreach, guidance and motivation strategies, at local, adult learning training providers level will support to attract those with lower possibilities and motivation. Adult education staff can play crucial role in promotion of adult learning, especially tackling those people with fewer opportunities, adults facing socio-economic difficulties. In order to improve outreach of adults in challenging learning situations, there is need for understanding needs of adults in challenging learning situations, to gain knowledge about motivational and coaching tools and new methods how to work with this target group thus promoting adult participation in adult learning and helping them to improve employability and transition in labour market to better employment, social inclusion of them in future.
Project's objectives are:
1. To promote participation of adults in non-formal, formal and continuing education.
2. Raise the awareness of adult learning providers and staff to motivate different target groups and provide them with tools to turn people into learning.
Project's main acitvities:
1)Workshops how to reach adults.
2) Collecting and disseminating good practices.
